As part of its mandate to deliver outreach services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Brazil provided consular services to Filipinos in São Paulo, Brazil on 15 June 2019. 

Brasilia PE played host to about 400 members of the diplomatic corps and Brazilian government officials during a gala dinner celebration of the 121^st Anniversary of Philippine Independence on 12 June 2019 at the Philippine Embassy grounds in Brasilia. 

Ambassador Marichu Mauro led the flag-raising during the Filipino community celebration of the 121st Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence on 9 June 2019 at the Philippine Embassy in Brasilia. 

Brasilia PE conducted a lecture on Financial Literacy and a presentation on Philhealth as a side event during its celebration of the 121st Anniversary of Philippine Independence with the Filipino community on 9 June 2019. 

H.E. Mr. David Granger, President of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana expressed his hope to improve cooperation with the Philippines to Ambassador Marichu Mauro, during the latter’s accreditation ceremony as Non-Resident Philippine Ambassador on 22 May 2019 in the capital Georgetown.

H.E. Marichu Mauro, Ambassador of the Philippines to Brazil, hands over her ballot to Special Ballot Reception and Custody Group (SBRCG) Chairperson Ms. Helena Tan today, 15 April 2019. The election period for Overseas Absentee Voting commenced on 13 April 2019 in Brazil and other Philippine foreign posts and will last until 13 May 2019. The Philippine Embassy in Brazil is conducting Postal Voting for all active and registered Filipino voters in their areas of jurisdiction namely Brazil, Colombia, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname and Venezuela.
