PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN BRASILIA WELCOMES AMBASSADOR MARIO F. CHAN
BRASILIA, BRAZIL – 29 NOVEMBER 2021 – The Philippine Embassy in Brasilia’s, Charge d’affaires, ad interim Leilani S. Feliciano and personnel warmly welcomed Philippine Ambassador Mario F. Chan and his family during their arrival at Brasilia’s International Airport on 29 November 2021.
Ambassador Chan was joined by his wife Mrs. Villaminda M. Chan, his son Mr. Zaster Che M. Chan, and their private staff Ms. Imelda Pedro. ASEAN Ambassadors present to welcome the Ambassador and his family were H.E. Mr. Edi Yusup, Ambassador of Indonesia, H.E. Mr. Lim Juay Jim, Ambassador of Malaysia, H.E. Mr. Myo Tint, Ambassador of Myanmar.

Ambassador Mario F. Chan was confirmed the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to the Federative Republic of Brazil with concurrent jurisdiction over the Republic of Colombia, the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, the Republic of Suriname and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela by the Commission on Appointments last 22 September 2021.
