PHL Embassy in Brasilia conducts Consular Mission and Overseas Voters Registration in Rio
A consular team from the Philippine Embassy in Brazil composed of Philippine Ambassador Jose D.R. Burgos, Dra. Blesilda Mansilla Burgos, Consul Ariz Severino V. Convalecer, Mr. Joey A. Espolong, Mr. Jose Antonio M. Bea and Ms. Leila Oliveira Carreiro, rendered consular services and conducted overseas voters (OV) registration from September 25 to 26 for the Filipino Community in Rio de Janeiro. The consular outreach was held at the Salão Cozumel of the Acapulco Copacabana Hotel, located just off the iconic Acapulco beach.
A total of 20 passports were renewed, and 19 new overseas voters registered. In addition, 2 affidavits of lost passports were executed, 1 report of marriage and 1 report of birth were received by Brasilia PE’s consular team.
