A consular outreach team from the Philippine Embassy in Brasilia visited São Paulo, Brazil, for a consular mission and overseas voters (OV) registration on October 24 to 26. Aside from mobile consular services, the Team also accepted applications for civil registration, notarization and citizenship reacquisition.
A total of 37 passport applicants and 64 Overseas Voters, including 55 new registrants, availed of the mobile consular services over the weekend. The Embassy Team also accepted applications for civil registration, notarization and citizenship reacquisition.
The consular outreach team also conducted a prison visit.
São Paulo is home to the largest number of Filipinos in Brazil, most of whom are missionaries, nannies or are working in commercial establishments and hotels.
