Former Honorary Consul General Consuelo Acosta was also given a Plaque of Recognition for her service to the Filipino community in Colombia.
A seminar on Basic Financial Literacy, Pag-Ibig and Philheath was also held to give further meaning and purpose to the Independence Day celebration.
