THE PHILIPPINE EMBASSY IN BRASILIA CONDUCTS CONSULAR OUTREACH MISSION IN PARAMARIBO, SURINAME ON 20 – 22 NOVEMBER 2021
PARAMARIBO, SURINAME 20-22 NOVEMBER 2021 - To serve the urgent consular needs of Filipinos in Suriname, the Philippine Embassy in Brasilia conducted a Consular Outreach Mission on 20, 21, and 22 November 2021 at the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Paramaribo.
The consular team was composed of Finance Officer Arnel M. Bautista and Consular Assistant Ma. Erika C. Limlengco.
The team processed 138 consular services.
Philippine Embassy in Brasilia Charge d’ affaires, a.i. Leilani S. Feliciano decided to send a consular outreach mission due to the insistent public demand of Filipinos in Suriname.
The Philippine Embassy coordinated with the Filipino Community in Suriname and Consul a.h. Egon Audhoe to ensure strict observance of the Suriname Government’s COVID-19 protocols and restrictions to ensure the health and safety of the Filipino Community members and the consular team. END
