REGULATIONS ON CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER OF LEGAL TENDER LOCAL AND FOREIGN CURRENCIES

PARAMARIBO, SURINAME: Suriname’s requirement for more Filipino nurses to work in their public health sector was the main topic of conversation during Ambassador Marichu Mauro’s meeting on  1 August 2018 with Dr. Antoine Elias, Minister of Public Health of Suriname.

PARAMARIBO, SURINAME:  Enhancing areas of cooperation was the main topic of the meeting of Ambassador Marichu Mauro and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Suriname, Yldiz Pollack-Beighle when they met on 27 July 2018 in the Surinamese capital, Paramaribo. 

PARAMARIBO, SURINAME: Ambassador Marichu Mauro met with members of the Filipino community in Suriname on 29 July 2018 in the capital city of Paramaribo.

Non-Resident Philippine Ambassador to the Republic of Suriname, Marichu Mauro presented her Letter of Credence to Surinamese President Desiré Bouterse on 30 July 2018 at the Presidential Palace in an official ceremony that included full military honors with the Philippine national anthem played in the background by the Suriname Military Band.

The Philippines assumed the Chairmanship of the ASEAN Committee in Brasília (ACB).

As part of its Gender and Development (GAD) Program,  Brasilia PE  held a talk on Brazilian labor law on Sunday, 22 July 2018, at the Chancery.

Brasilia PE held a consular outreach mission at the Nossa Senhora da Paz Parish in Liberdade, São Paulo, Brazil, on 14-15 July 2018. The mobile consular team was able to process the following: 33 passport applications, 16 OAV registrations, 3 civil registration reports and notarials.
